Jagindra N. Mangru, MD

Dr. Jagindra N. Mangru is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine with several accolades including Pfizer Scholar, Abbott Immunology and Centocor Health Outcomes in Rheumatic Diseases (CHORD) awards and enlistment in the Guide to America's Top Physicians in 2003. Memberships include American College of Rheumatology, American Medical Association, Georgia Society of Rheumatology, Medical Association of Georgia, Metro-Atlanta Rheumatology Society, Lupus Foundation and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Mangru is a member of the board of directors of the Lupus Foundation, Georgia chapter. Dr. Mangru is credentialled as a consultant and for admitting privileges at Northside Forsyth Hospital in Cumming Georgia.

Amanda G. Appling, PA-C

Amanda Appling returns to Cumming Rheumatology and Arthritis after moving to Florida for a year. She is a 2008 graduate of North Georgia College and State University (University of North Georgia) with a Bachelors degree in Athletic Training. She earned her Masters of Medical Science from Mercer University in Physician Assistant studies in 2011. Amanda is a board certified Physician Assistant under the National Commission of Certification for Physician Assistants. She has 6 years of orthopedic surgery experience and 2 years previously with Cumming Rheumatology and Arthritis.  Amanda is well versed in administering joint injections and aspirations. She enjoys treating disease states that involve bones, joints and muscles. She is a native of Dawsonville where she and her family currently reside. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and running. She also enjoys being active in her church. 

Alpana B. Jayadevan, FNP-C

Alpana Jayadevan is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She graduated with her Bachelors degree in nursing from Mercer University. She has obtained her Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner and graduated with Sigma Theta Tau honors from Georgia State University. Alpana has worked with top hospitals including Emory, Northside, Piedmont, Grady and Columbia Medical. Alpana has experience in a wide range of specialties including many years in orthopedic surgery. Alpana is also geriatric nurse certified through the American Nurse Credentialing Center. She has multiple years of supervisor experience which involved managing and educating healthcare staff. Alpana is also a member of the Rheumatology Nurses Society. Alpana is multilingual and well versed in English, Hindi, and Punjabi. Alpana spent most of her life in Georgia and she currently resides in Cumming with her family. Alpana enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, and swimming.
